Philip has conducted
performances of over 100 orchestral works spanning
over 150 years of musical composition. As an advocate
of 20th century repertoire, recent successes have
included Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, Holst’s Planets, Debussy’s La Mer and Gershwin’s Piano Concerto. Apart from his family, Philip is most heavily influenced by his idol Leonard Bernstein, and always aims to create a powerful and immersive musical experience for both orchestra and audience through his enthusiasm and passion for musical education. Tonight marks his first performance with the Philharmonia.
